INDIANAPOLIS -- Robert Marsh, 90, wished he could drive a bulldozer. Thanks to Never Too Late, he did.

The engineer guided the construction of buildings for years, but he watched bulldozers from a distance until April 5, when he was given the opportunity to guide one of the machines on the city's east side.

And he has Bob Haverstick - this week's RTV6 Leadership Award winner - to thank.

Haverstick (pictured, right) founded Never Too Late in 2000. The group has served 345 people - mostly senior citizens.

Haverstick says he gets a good feeling every time a person's wish is granted.

"It's a helpers high, is what I call it," he said. "Every wish is just as meaningful as the one before, and it just keeps propelling the volunteers of Never Too Late."
